Dr. Ainette received his B.A. in Psychology from Lehman College, and his M.A. in Psychology and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (with a health emphasis) from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University. His research interests involve identification of risk and protective factors for health outcomes with emphasis on stress, social support, and self-regulatory processes. The courses he teaches include, but are not limited to, General Psychology I and II, Psychology of Personality, Cognitive Neuroscience, Abnormal Psychology, and History and Systems of Psychology. Dr. Ainette is the faculty advisor for psychology internships and the Psychology Club advisor, as well.
