Melissa began her employment at Dominican College in August 2010 as an Assistant Director in Residence Life and took on the position of Director of Community Engagement and Leadership Development in the summer of 2015.

She graduated with a BA in Public Relations from Mount Saint Mary College while enjoying minors and concentrations in English, Art, and Music Theater. She is currently pursuing her MS in Organizational Leadership at Southern New Hampshire University.

Melissa believes in being an active member of the Rockland County and Dominican College community. She is involved with many on campus committees and off campus work including the Sustainability, Dominican Connections, the General Education Curriculum Committees on campus, as well as Volunteer NY, Keep Rockland Beautiful and Meals on Wheels. Melissa was named one of Rockland County’s 40 Under 40 in 2013 and is a 2017 graduate from Leadership Rockland. In addition, she has been presenting for Teen Leadership Rockland for many years. She is passionate about leadership through service and loves helping students find their love for making an impact through passionate and purposeful action.

When Melissa is not on campus, she loves hanging out in her backyard, spending time with her husband, daughter, and her dog named Fish.
