Head Coach Joe Burbridge is entering his ninth season as Dominican College head softball coach. In his eight seasons at the helm of the Charger softball program he has amassed a record of 212-113 and his overall record stands at 251-126. The Chargers CACC record during that time stands at 131-21.

Last season he guided Dominican to their fourth CACC regular season championship with a program best record of 25-1, and fifth straight NCAA tournament appearance. The Chargers had won three straight CACC tournament championships from 2010-2012.

Prior to coming to Dominican, Burbridge was the head coach at Adelphi University. He compiled a record of 39-13 in his one season there, while setting a school record for wins. The Panthers won the ECC Regular Season Title with an 18-2 record and were ranked as high as 8th in the country, in addition to earning a berth in the NCAA Regional Tournament.

In addition to his coaching duties, Burbridge was named Assistant Director of Athletics in June of 2012. Coach Burbridge is a graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey. He received his master’s degree from Seton Hall University. He and his wife Joann, live in Suffern, NY with their daughter, Colleen Paige, who was born in 2006.
