Dr. Troncone has earned two degrees from Rutgers University, including a Ph.D. and Master of Arts in American History from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. He completed his undergraduate studies at Kean University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Dr. Troncone continues to foster his wide-ranging interests in the field of history with a particular focus given to ethnicity in America, U.S. Civil War, Native American studies, and the history of food. In addition to his teaching duties, Dr. Troncone serves the Dominican College community as the faculty advisor to Pi Gamma Mu, the national honor society for college students pursuing studies in the social sciences. He also gives back to the local community by appearing as a frequent guest lecturer at community forums as well as serving as the Chairman of the Pascack Valley Historical Society.
