About The Library

The Sullivan Library's mission is to support the educational mission of the College. The Library promotes an active partnership in intellectual growth and discovery; as well as providing life-long learning skills. The Library provides a comprehensive collection of resources and services to support learning, teaching and research.

The Library was named after Sr. Kathleen Sullivan, O.P. (Chancellor) in 2007 when it moved to its current location in Rosary Hall. In 2011, the Library expanded to the lower level of  Rosary Hall with the addition of the Learning Commons, an educational space that provides a comfortable, technologically-equipped environment where students can work collaboratively or individually on academic assignments. In 2016, the Learning Commons was relocated to the first-floor of the Library. Additonally the Computer Lab and Periodicals Room were renovated to enhance teaching and learning within these spaces.

The Sullivan Library is a member of Southeastern New York Library Resources Council (SENYLRC)Westchester Academic Library Directors Organization (WALDO), and the Lower Hudson Valley Catholic College and University Consortium (LHVCCUC).
