Freshman Admissions Counselor
Dominican College is currently seeking a dynamic, goal-oriented Freshman Admissions Counselor to assist the College in achieving its student enrollment goals. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Freshman Admissions Counselor will participate primarily in all aspects of freshman admissions operations, including but not limited to the evaluation of applicant credentials, visiting secondary schools, involvement in special events, and collaboration with Financial Aid.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Excellent written and verbal communications skills; well-developed organizational and time management skills; computer expertise in Microsoft Applications. Ability to travel regularly, with occasional evening, weekend and overnight assignments as needed. A high degree of personal motivation, self-management and attention to detail is expected. Previous admissions experience and proficiency in Spanish a plus.
