Our guest speaker Gerald P. Mallon, DSW, LCSW will be presenting: Adult Bullies in college, in the workplace and in the community

Dr. Mallon is the Julia Lathrop Professor of Child Welfare and the Associate Dean of Scholarship and Research at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in New York City. He earned his doctorate in Social Welfare from the City University of New York at Hunter College, holds an MSW from Fordham University and proudly has a BSW from Dominican College. Dr. Mallon has been a child welfare professional for his entire career, and in addition he has been a foster parent and is the adoptive parent of now grown children.

During this presentation, he will address the issue of adult bullies focusing on the distinctive pattern of harming and humiliating others, specifically those who are in some way smaller, weaker, younger or in any way more vulnerable than the bully. All are welcome to join us for this important and timely presentation.
