The event will raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society to support research and provide support services for patients who are battling cancer. Cancer is something that hits home for many of us here in the Dominican College community and we want to do all we can to help eliminate it. Your support would help us immensely!

Our theme for this year’s Relay for Life is Game Night:
LIFE may be a TWISTER but SORRY cancer, we’re IN IT TO WIN IT!

How To Sign Up For Relay For Life:

Go To :

  1. Create a team, come up with a fun team name and designate a team captain. Sign up on our website here.
  2. Click: “Fundraise For This Campaign” – the red button underneath the amount raised so far. In order to sign up, each participant will put their TEAM NAME in the FIRST NAME box and they’re FIRST AND LAST NAMES in the LAST NAME box. This will help us to sort our participants by team to track fundraising by team. It is $10 per person to register, which may be covered by a donation made in your name.
  3. Raise money! You can share the donation webpage with family and friends to solicit donations through email and social media platforms. Teams can hold fundraisers on-campus, such as bake sales or coin drops. Every penny counts!
  4. Show up to the event on March 16, 2018 at the Hennessy Center. Registration and the survivor dinner will begin at 5 p.m. The ceremonies will start promptly at 6 p.m. and there will be events throughout the night, including special laps, the luminaria ceremony, performances, games, free food and more. The event will conclude at 12 midnight.
  5. Send pictures of your loved ones who are battling cancer, who have survived cancer, or those you are remembering so we can offer our collaborative support during the luminaria ceremony.
  6. Are you or a loved one a survivor or caregiver? Reply to this email to RSVP for our pre-event dinner and to help us kick off the event by walking our first laps.
