7th Annual Criminal Justice Day

1st Session
8:15-9:30 Drugs, Crime and Justice
Chief of Patrol William Barbera from the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office will discuss technologies and strategies used to prevent, investigate and prosecute drug crimes in Rockland County. We are hoping that Sheriff’s drug dog can make a guest appearance!

2nd Session
9:45-11:00 FBI Recruitment
FBI Recruiters FX Flaherty (FBI special agent) and Sahara Juarbe (FBI professional staff member) will discuss the FBI application, hiring, and training processes.

3rd Session
11:15-12:30 Department of Homeland Security
Department of Homeland Security Deputy Regional Director Jason S. Martinez will discuss his education, training, and career with the Dept. of Homeland Security as well as some of the many areas handled by the DHS—border security, cybersecurity, and law enforcement partnerships.
