Since 1952 Dominican College has provided an educational experience based on enduring relationships and a commitment to the development of excellence, leadership and service. Our more than 10,000 alumni personify the “Dominican Difference” in a variety of professional settings in our region and across the globe.
For over 60 years the College has enjoyed an enduring tradition of excellence that could not have been possible without the generous support of graduates and friends. Advancing Excellence is focused on continuing and building on this tradition. Committed to providing an educational experience that fosters the active, shared pursuit of truth and provides an ideal of education rooted in the values of reflective understanding and compassionate involvement, the College now serves 2,100 students.
Increased enrollment is driving the plan to expand the Granito Dining Center and Hennessy Student Life Center, and to purchase contingent property from the Sisters of St. Dominic who founded the College. Commitment to excellence is the force that causes the College to continue to seek excellent faculty and to provide “state of the art” learning and living environments. New resources will be required to meet these goals as we prepare for a promising future. I welcome any opportunity to discuss with you how your support can enable the College to become an ever stronger force in transforming lives and creating a more just and humane society.
Because of the remarkable generosity of donors, the visionary leadership of the Board and the commitment of the entire Dominican College community, we are enthusiastically undertaking this expansion effort. The gift you may give will provide a more promising future for Dominican’s students. I remain grateful for the consideration I know you will support this commitment to Advancing Excellence.
