Assistant Professor of Psychology (Tenure Track)

Dominican College in Rockland County, 20 miles north of NYC, invites applications for the full-time tenure track position of Assistant Professor of Developmental Psychology commencing either January 2019 or August 2019 depending upon the candidate’s availability.

Requirements: We seek candidates with a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology and a strong commitment to teaching, student advising, programmatic and college service. The successful candidate will have experience teaching introductory and upper-level psychology courses (e.g., Child Psychology, Adolescent Psychology & Quantitative Research Methods), must be willing to teach the occasional class outside of area of expertise (e.g., Forensic Psychology), and is expected to teach four courses per semester.
