Assistant Academic Dean
Dominican College has an opening for a full-time Administrator, reporting to the Academic Dean/Vice President for Academic Affairs, beginning January 1, 2022. The Assistant Academic Dean oversees the College’s undergraduate liberal arts programs, General Education curriculum, the Sullivan Library and Academic Success Center, and Study Abroad programs (primarily offered through peer institutions), and chairs the College’s Assessment Committee. Responsibilities include providing academic leadership to these programs and supervision of the individual administrative directors.
Requirements: An earned Doctorate is preferred, plus a minimum of four years full-time faculty experience (preferably in a traditional liberal arts or humanities discipline) and two years’ experience in academic administration at the college level.
