Administrative Assistant Full-Time
Physical Therapy Department
Dominican College seeks a full-time assistant to provide administrative support to the Doctor of Physical Therapy Department. Responsibilities include acting as liaison with faculty and students, maintaining student files, typing, admissions, working with the budget, filing, mailings and other general office duties. One of the major responsibilities is to coordinate the transitional online doctor of physical therapy program. Duties associated with this coordination includes aiding students registering for the appropriate courses, interacting with adjuncts and ensuring students meet the graduation requirements.
Schedule: 35 hours a week 5 days a week. The schedule is Monday through Friday and Tuesday through Saturday when there is class on the weekend (typically 13-15 weekends).
Qualifications: High School Degree required, some college preferred. 2-3 years office experience required. Excellent organization and interpersonal skills plus the ability to multi-task are essential. Must be detail oriented and proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
