The 124-credit curriculum requires that all AT students satisfy General Education Curriculum (see page 28) and liberal arts requirements, primarily in the physical and social sciences, along with those in Athletic Training and the related Allied Health courses.
Athletics Training Objectives
Its explicit objectives stipulate that students will be taught and expected not only to:
- Understand “accepted professional standards and procedures” but also to assume responsibility for effective communications
- To have a caring and understanding approach to their profession
- To have high ethical standards.
Such expectations reflect the College’s institution-wide mission to “promote educational excellence, leadership, and service in an environment characterized by respect for the individual and concern for the community.”
