Dominican College Chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta Recognized

The National Council of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society for First Year College Students has awarded a Delta Award at the Silver level to the Dominican College chapter. The Delta Award honors those chapters whose membership has increased dramatically in the past year. In 2011-2012, the Dominican College chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta initiated 51 new members, up 31% over the number of initiates the previous year.

The requirements for membership in Alpha Lambda Delta are as follows:

• You must have a 3.5 or higher Grade Point Average (on a 4.0-point scale), or the equivalent, and you must be in the top 20% of your class during your first term or your first year of study at an institution of higher education. 
• You must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a baccalaureate (Bachelor's) degree at an accredited institution.
