The Palisades Institute of Dominican College Presents a Social Media Boot Camp on June 20, from 8:30-10:30 am in the Lawrence Room of Rosary Hall at Dominican College. The session will focus the “how to” elements of getting started and managing different platforms and customizing them for optimum use. Social Media offers many opportunities for businesses and non-profits. Understanding the tools and the techniques that enable practical application of its potential is key to its successful implementation on behalf of your organization.
 
Starting with the basics, the Boot Camp team will move through the strategies needed to reap the benefits of the investment of time and resources that the use of social media involves. You are invited to bring portable devices so that “hands on” applications can be facilitated. There will be ample time for questions and for individual consultation after the formal session ends.
