A minor in Ethnic Diversity Studies will complement any course of study you choose, providing you with cross-cultural knowledge and global awareness that will enhance your ability to perform well in any career. The interdisciplinary approach offers a wide variety of courses that will support your academic program and deepen your appreciation for cultural diversity and human commonality.
The minor consists of 18 credits, including two required courses and four electives. Courses focus on the different regions of the world and include history, politics, religion, ethnicity, literature, sociology, anthropology, and economics – in short, every discipline that sheds light on the behaviors and proclivities of different peoples in their social and historical contexts.
