Sister Kathleen Sullivan Honored with "Women Who Have Made a Difference"

On March 20, the Rockland Chapter of the American Association of University Women honored Sister Kathleen Sullivan, O.P., Chancellor for External Affairs, along with 23 other women who have made a difference in the community life of Rockland County.

Since Rockland's inception, the efforts of many women have influenced and changed the community for the better. These pioneers have had an impact in many fields: art and literature, botany, business, community development, education, environmental science, local government, medicine, women's suffrage, advocacy for protection of women and children, and more.

The ceremony was held at Rockland Community College and was attended by politicians, dignitaries, and members of the Rockland community.
