Director of the Physical Therapy Program
Dominican College, welcomes candidates for Program Director of its entry-level DPT and online t-DPT programs. The successful candidate will join a supportive environment working collaboratively with both the PT faculty and other disciplines on a suburban campus.

The program is offered in a weekend format for highly motivated adult learners and is housed in a new facility devoted specifically to science, nursing and other allied health programs.  This format allows for exciting opportunities for faculty to engage in research, clinical practice and other community activities. 

The Director will be responsible for program management, faculty recruitment and development, student recruitment and retention, curricular leadership, teaching, research and service.

Requirements: Ph.D., Ed.D. or equivalent; substantive teaching and administrative experience in a college or university setting; eligibility for appointment to senior faculty rank; and PT licensure in NY State or eligibility for such licensure; strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Director of the Social Work Program
Dominican College invites applications for the position of Director of the Social Work Program beginning August 2010.  This is a full-time, tenure-track position.  Rank and salary are competitive.  The Undergraduate Social Work Program has been accredited since 1978. 

Qualifications: PhD/DSW in Social Work or related field, MSW from a CSWE accredited program and a minimum of two years post MSW degree social work practice experience. Full-time teaching in an accredited social work program required.  Knowledge of CSWE accreditation and experience in curriculum revisions, assessment and preparation of self- studies are desired.  Primary teaching responsibility is in the macro practice area.

Major Responsibilities: Management of the program, assessment, faculty recruitment and development, student recruitment and retention, curricular leadership and accreditation compliance, teaching, student advisement, community service and college-wide committee involvement.

Dominican College has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Mechanic to work the Monday through Friday 4:00 PM to Midnight shift. H.S. Diploma required.
