PT 623 Teaching and Learning (1)
The course examines the role of the physical therapist as an educator of the client, caregiver, and interdisciplinary team member. Current theories of teaching and learning, including a range of teaching and learning styles, ar e covered with reference both to the students themselves and their prospective clients. Involvement in the Dominican College Health Fair provides the opportunity for students to use the teaching skills essential for health promotion.
