English Minor

The English minor provides students with a foundation of literary understanding and exploration. The minor requires 18 credits within the discipline, and all of these 18 credits must be beyond the EN 113 core course (200-level courses or above). Students electing to minor in English will be required to take three credits in British literature, three credits in either American or world literature, and twelve credits in English electives. In addition, students will be required to receive grades of "C" or higher in classes counting toward the English minor. This structure provides a basis of knowledge of literature, while still allowing for the flexibility to pursue individual interests within course offerings.
