BI 226 Genetics (4)
Essential facts of the three main branches of genetics: transmission: Mendelian, (classical) genetics, molecular genetics, and population genetics. Emphasis is on human genetics and medical applications, with consideration of social, cultural, and ethical applications of genetics. (Three-hour lecture, three-hour lab.) Prerequisites:Minimum grade of C in BI 221S-222S; CH 221S-222S (or instructor permission).
