BI 225 Introductory Microbiology (4)

An introductory survey course emphasizing microbial structure, chemistry and genetic variation, growth and control of microorganisms, antibiotic control and resistance, classification, host-microbe interactions, and microorganisms and the diseases they cause. C+ required for Nursing majors. (Three-hour lecture, three-hour lab.)
