The Residence Halls

We offer three very different Residence Centers: Guzman Hall, Hertel Hall, and Rosary Hall. Each has different amenities and room types.

Rosary Hall: Freshmen and Upperclassmen

This is a four-story, community oriented building with space for 165 students who are housed on the top three floors. The building’s amenities include two large and newly updated student lounges. The fourth floor lounge is equipped with a flat screen television, two pool tables, ping pong tables, and access to the student radio station with a lot of soft seating and high top tables for you to use. The second floor study lounge offers computer stations and printer access along with a projector and large group study tables.  A kitchenette can be found in both lounges. Laundry facilities can be found on each floor. The building has a 24 hour security guard station at the resident entrance of the building. Wi-Fi can be accessed throughout the building.

The rooms in Rosary Hall are mostly singles with a few doubles and triples. Each room has an ethernet jack, cable outlet and standard furniture.

Hertel Hall: Freshmen and Upperclassmen

Hertel Hall

Hertel is the largest Residence Center on campus with a capacity of 288 students. The building is equipped with a computer lounge, two soft seating study lounges, a group study lounge, and a quiet study room. There are also two entertainment lounges with multiple televisions, pool tables, and ping pong. This building contains one large laundry facility and vending machines on the first floor. A full kitchen can be found attached to the first floor lounge. The building has a 24 hour security guard station at the entrance of the building. Wi-Fi can be accessed throughout the building.

The rooms in  Hertel Hall include singles, doubles, triples and quads (for upperclassmen). Each room has an ethernet jack, cable outlet, and standard furniture. The quad rooms are two double rooms adjoined with a common area and a bathroom.

Guzman Hall: Upperclassmen

Guzman Hall

This upperclassmen building is the newest Residence Center, having been built in 2007. It has room for 200 students.

Each floor of Guzman boasts a study lounge with study desks, a groups table, and some soft seating. Vending machines can be found on the first, second, and fourth floors. Other amenities include a laundry room, small fitness room, and a conference/meeting conference room with projector. The first floor lounge has computer stations, a big screen television, and ping pong, as well as a small dining area with a microfridge available for student use. The building has a 24 hour security guard station at the entrance of the building. Wi-Fi can be accessed throughout the building.

There are two types of rooms in Guzman Hall. Double style rooms are two single bedrooms with a small common area containing two sinks and an ensuite bathroom. Quad rooms have a full kitchenette with microwave and full-size refrigerator provided, a large common area/living room, four sinks, two ensuite bathrooms, and four single bedrooms.
