A Message from the Director

On behalf of the Dominican College Alumni Association, it is my pleasure to congratulate the class of 2014 on your graduation and welcome you as alumni. While you have spent your last several years closely linked to the College, your Dominican family just got a lot bigger. You are now part of a global community of alumni who are dedicated to advancing Dominican College’s mission through excellence, service, and leadership, which will extend far beyond the years you’ve spent on campus.

I hope you will take advantage of the great programs and events that the Alumni Association sponsors
and organizes each year, providing great opportunities for you to reconnect with fellow Charger alums.

Here are some ways to enhance your alumni experience:

  • Be informed and read our bi-annual alumni magazine, Dominican Dateline for happenings on campus, fellow alumni, and events.
  • Return to campus with your peers and attend programs, events, and career related resources.
  • Remain involved by volunteering on the Alumni Association Board, as an alumni mentor or with the newly created Alumni Outreach Committee.
  • Interact with us on social media: LinkedIn and Facebook: Dominican College and Twitter @DominicanOburg.

Above all, I encourage you to take full advantage of the Association’s programs—to keep in touch with classmates and retain your connection to the College. We do want to hear your thoughts and suggestions… this is your Association and we want your input and support.

I wish you all the best on your post-graduation endeavors and I hope to meet many of you at future alumni events.

Sincerely,

Samira A. Allen, MPA
Director of Alumni Relations
