10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
The LRC provides reinforcement of general education competency through written communication. Students acquire the essential skills and concepts to express themselves through written articulation. The LRC will provide students with the necessary academic resources to effectively overcome the challenges and issues of fundamental writing. The LRC facilitates the math practicum which provides specialized tutoring for those students in need of supplemental math instruction. This initiative helps students improve their basic mathematics skills, pre-requisite for many courses, and assists them with academic difficulties in current course material. Based on approved and established academic programs, the Learning Resources Center will promote student learning and development. Through the combined efforts of these programs, we encourage intellectual growth, the ability to communicate effectively, realistic self-appraisal, and enhanced self-esteem.
