The student with a B.S. in Biology with an area of emphasis in Environmental Science completes: a minimum of 54 hours in Biology including General Biology I and II; Molecular Microbiology; Genetics; Studies in Biochemistry; a Molecular Biology component; Botany; Introductory Ecology; either: Environmental Toxicology; Field Ecology Aquatic Biology; Evolution; Scientific Investigative Research Techniques; Proposal Writing; Research Seminar.
