SO 110 The Origins of Human Society (3)
This is an introductory course in Sociology and is intended to help students acquire a basic understanding of the core elements of American society and how they have changed, especially over the last hundred years. Students are introduced to the issue areas that are of fundamental concern to people who study culture and society by assessing these topics in the American context. Some of the central questions addressed include "What are the main aspects of society?" and "what are the primary forces that have forged America?"
