MG 310 Business, Society, and Corporate Values (3)
Considers the interplay of ethical criteria, moral values, and societal norms in determining the environment in which managers must operate. Different ethical philosophies will be covered, as well as the methods by which individuals within a business setting can evaluate the ethical dilemmas that arise while keeping various stakeholders in mind. Current events will be explored related to issues concerning the environment, safety and equity in the workplace, consumer safety, corporate governance, and governmental regulations. Prerequisite: MG 211. Formerly titled Business and Society.
